AGT (abbr.)  - Travel Agent

AI (abbr.)      - Air India

AI                  - All Inclusive - Used when quoting rates for hotels, meaning including all taxes, surcharge and                  
                        service charges   eg ., 'INR 5000 CP AI' meaning including all taxes etc., the cost of room 
                        with breakfast is Rs 5000/- 

ALTN (abbr.)  - Alternative

AM                  - Morning - In travel terminology it denotes morning hours.

American Plan - A payment plan in which the room rate includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner1\o651. Same
                          as Full Board

ARR               -  Arrival

ASAP             - as soon as possible

ASTA             - American Society of Travel Agents

B&B               - Bed and breakfast accommodations

Back Water     - Water held or pushed back by or as is by dam or current

Bed Tax           - City or country ax added to the price of a hotel room

Blackouts         - Dates when lower rates do not apply.
                           eg., holidays and special occasions

Buffet               - Fixed menu meals served in hotels, pre-laid meals served in restaurant for a fixed price per
                          person.
